Power Rankings: MCU - Best Stan Lee Cameos

Stan Lee is the Godfather of Superheroes. Fans around the world were devastated when they learned of his passing in November of 2018. Even though he's not with us anymore, he will live on through the characters that he created.

One of the best parts of seeing a Marvel movie was trying to spot where Stan Lee would show up. With the recent release of Endgame, we wanted to revisit the entire MCU franchise and rank our favorite cameos.

“A… definition of a hero is someone who is concerned about other people’s well-being, and will go out of his or her way to help them—even if there is no chance of a reward. That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero.”

Film: Ant-Man & Wasp

Why we love it: This one packed a nice laugh for the adults in the audience. The 60's were wild.

Film: Iron Man

Why we love it: The first few Iron Man films had some fun using Stan Lee as a cameo within a cameo. Larry King was great, but nothing tops his run as Hugh Hefner. This trend of being a ladies man carried on throughout a few of his cameos.

Film: Thor

Why we love it: This scene seems like a great party. Everyone having a few beers, having some laughs, trying to prove that they are the baddest mother f'er in Puente Antiguo. Stan is not intimidated by the challenge. Strap it up to the old V6 and let's let this puppy roar. Even when his truck is totaled it doesn't even phase him. He has insurance. Incidentals involving a god's hammer should be covered.

Film: Doctor Strange

Why we love it: There are certain scenes that you're almost expecting a cameo. Others completely catch you off guard. In the middle of an intense action sequence there is little old Stan, having the time of his life.

Film: Spider-Man: Homecoming

Why we love it: I like to think that Gary and Margery went on to have many more alleyway conversations just like this. Maybe they even decided to move in together and spend the rest of their lives together. Great job, Spider-Guy!

Film: Captain America: Winter Soldier

Why we love it: This poor guy. Just trying to get through his shift and put food on the table. Little does he know that Cap put his career on the line just to what? Save the world? The repercussions of this scene are tremendous for this character. Does he get fired? Does Cap ever return the suit? We need to know. TELL US MARVEL!

Film: Thor: Ragnorak

Why we love it: Cutting off Thor's hair was a bold move. A huge reason as to why they pulled it off has to be Stan Lee on the other end of the clippers. He even makes a bad haircut look great.

Film: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Why we love it: Not one, but TWO APPEARANCES?! It's a coin flip on whether the ending credits were worth the wait. Dropping an extended Stan Lee cameo was a great move by Marvel. Fans had a lot of fun doing a deep dive on Stan's connection to "The Watchers"

Film: Captain America: Civil War

Why we love it: Stan Lee has had a ton of memorable scenes, but it's rare he gives us an iconic quote. "Tony Stank" will live on in the MCU ethos for eternity.

Film: Avengers: Age of Ultron

Why we love it: Any time Stan gets some runway with the main characters is a treat for the audience. If that wasn't enough, we're blessed with Drunk Stan dropping his iconic mantra, "Excelsior".
